Various influences, ranging from African folklore, Argentinian tango, bebop/modern jazz and Latin-American are clearly audible. Which results in multifacetted moods and rhythms. The themes are composed in two parts for tenor saxophone and double bass, and have been „rhythmically refined“. The forms chosen allow plenty of space for an intensively innovative, trio-based expressiveness In concerts jazz standards also are reinterpreted in new arrangements.
